We are here to change the way restaurants are started, through our unique approach: experience-first design. We know that every restaurant idea starts with a vision of a memorable dining experience. Our mission is to keep the focus on that dream and help turn it into a thriving restaurant.

We accomplish our mission both by applying experience-first design, and through project management that preserves your capital and creates a profitable restaurant, so that you can not only accomplish your dream, but also make it a long-term success.

Our Vision

Our goal is to be a nationally established resource, both for entrepreneurs who want to begin a restaurant and for restaurateurs who have plans to expand their business. We believe that with the right planning and management, the restaurant business doesn’t have to have its stereotypically high failure rate. Our vision is to change that, one successful client at a time.

Our Team

Experience-first design means bringing together a team that can envision both the experience you have in mind, and the path to get there successfully. Our team provides a full range of restaurant-related expertise, all the way from restaurant construction and design to staffing and menu creation.

Philip Becker

After stepping out of his role in the restaurant business as a general manager, Philip founded Requip Store, a restaurant equipment supplier. In seven years of helping restaurant owners get the right equipment without breaking their budget, he realized that local, independent restaurateurs needed more support than they were getting from just a conglomeration of separate contractors and suppliers. He started Mane Kitchen Group in response, to provide the kind of full-service advice, education, and consultation that would help independent restaurant owners succeed.

Philip also brings to the table his experience as a general contractor in Northwest Arkansas. Restaurant construction and design are unique in the building industry, and Philip knows how to find the right professionals to make a restaurant idea work.

Chris Wise

Chris is a classically trained chef, with seven years of experience at establishments such as the Little Mill in Aspen, Colorado, and Ella’s in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He has a deep, hands-on understanding of kitchen functionality and efficiency, the food and culinary side of a restaurant, and the artwork of creating a beautiful plate. He also understands how all of those aspects factor into the customer experience.

Chris’ work with Mane Kitchen Group has only increased his passion for working in the kitchen and helping chefs. His mission is to prevent chef burnout by increasing kitchen efficiency and staff coordination, decreasing unnecessary hours, and making the kitchen a great place to work.
